The first stage is a chat with you.
Everyone has an idea of what they want and a budget. We'll match the two as best we can, by giving you as many options as possible to get the very best film for your project.
The cost of producing a film is often compared to measuring the length of a piece of string. It is of course dependent on what goes into the production.
It depends on a variety of factors - timeframe, location, crew requirements, editing, graphics and music rights. We'd love to suggest some ideas and styles you may not have thought of. With our experience in all kinds of genres, we can often come up with a solution that could save you money and result in a better finished product.
Formulating creative content and new approaches is one of our biggest strengths. From years of experience we know what works and what doesn’t, enabling us to cut straight to ideas that we know will work visually.
If the film requires actors, a presenter or voice-over artist, we have many professional contacts throughout the industry we can use.
We will put a crew together specifically for your shoot depending on what's required. This may be a single cameraman or a crew with a director, cameraman, soundman, lighting, make-up, autocue, PA, runner, motion control rigs, maybe even a U-Crane (formally called a Russian Arm) and crew for that car chase scene.
By the end of this stage, the elements will be finalised and agreed, a shooting schedule will be drawn up and a date set for the shoot.
This is where the planning comes together. We will have put together a crew specifically to suit your shoot. We really welcome your involvement at this stage to ensure we show your business in the way you want it presented and with safe working practices.
However much you plan ahead, circumstances can always change at the last minute, or a great opportunity might suddenly arise. We are extremely adaptable and will make the most of any situation.
Everything starts to take shape now. The ‘rushes’ from the shoot will be edited with music, graphics and voiceover added as necessary. We will then give you a copy for approval.
We are confident you will be more than happy with the result, having had input from the start. You will however still have the opportunity to make a set of changes to the edit at this stage if you feel they are necessary.
It's a good idea to get everyone with an opinion, or interest in the final film, to view your first edit so changes can be consolidated, avoiding the cost of multiple re-edits.
Your film is now complete. We can deliver it to you in a variety of formats.
Most people want their film viewed online so we'll compress it to a very high standard for you. This gives a small file size with great quality, but we can deliver in just about any format or frame size you like.
